MA3 Remote Privacy Policy
MA3 Remote respects your privacy. This application is designed to control lighting systems (grandMA3 consoles and onPC) and does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
MA3 Remote does not collect any personal information such as name, email, location, contacts, or identifiers.
The app communicates locally over Wi-Fi using the OSC protocol to connect to grandMA3 consoles or onPC systems. All communication stays within your local network and is not transmitted to any external servers.
The optional Heart BPM feature on the MA3 Remote Apple Watch app uses Apple HealthKit to read your live heart rate, only while a session you start manually is active. Your heart rate is used solely to set the tempo of your own lighting show: the app converts it to a BPM value and sends that number to your console over your local network. Heart rate data is never stored by the app, never shared with the developer or any third party, and never leaves your device. Ending the session (or leaving the screen) stops all heart-rate access. The workout session created during Heart BPM is managed by watchOS and remains under your control in the Health app.
The app does not store personal data on external servers. Any show-related data (such as console state or executor information) is only temporarily displayed within the app for control purposes. Settings (such as connection details and watch layouts) are stored locally on your device only.
MA3 Remote does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app may request local network access in order to communicate with grandMA3 systems — this permission is required for core functionality. The Apple Watch app may request read access to heart rate data via HealthKit — this permission is optional and only needed for the Heart BPM feature.
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted outside the local network, there is no risk of external data exposure through this application.
This Privacy Policy may be updated in future versions of the app. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact the developer through the support page provided in the App Store listing.
